At Lake Community, we have something for children of all ages from birth through 5th grade during our Sunday morning ministries.

Nursery  (Ages:  Birth - 2 years old)

Nursery is provided during the entire worship service so that our little ones can experience the love of God in their own way while they are promptly and appropriately cared for in an environment that is safe, fun and adequately staffed for their needs and interests.

Nursery is also offered during the Sunday School hour during the school year when children's and adult classes are offered.  The Nursery is the first room in the Children's wing of the building.

Children's Church   (Ages: 3-5 years old)

Children's Church is provided during the 2nd half of the worship service. Children that are 3-5 years old participate in the service during the music portion and then are dismissed to meet their friends and learn together through an age appropriate bible story, music, game, craft and snack time.

Parents bring their children for drop off and pick up in classrooms 1 & 2 in the Children's wing of the building.

Sunday School  (Ages:  3 years  -  5th grade)

Sunday School for children begins a few minutes after the worship service so approximately 10:20-10:30am.  This schedule resumes on Sunday, Sept. 20th.  Sunday School uses both a large group and a small group format in which they meet as large groups for their singing, skits and story time and then they split into smaller groups for discussions, crafts and more personal time together with children of their age.

The Primary group is children ages 3 years old through Kindergarten and they start in classroom 6 in the Children's wing of the building.

The Elementary group is children in 1st-5th grade and they start in classrooms 7/8 off the lobby in the new part of the building.
